What are “CERTs” and why are they important?
CERTS (Computer Emergency Response Teams) are country specific bodies that facilitate takedowns should ISPs based in their jurisdiction be unresponsive. This is particularly important in cases where the ISPs themselves are associated with the fraudulent activity in question.
